You will need to have a suitable placement to work at to complete an apprenticeship and will need an A to C or 9 to 4 in Maths and at least a D or a 5 in English OR an A to C or 9 to 4 in English and at least a D or a 5 in Maths. A suitable qualification in ICT is desirable but not essential.
You will be required to attend an interview at college for all courses and we request a school or college report
This qualification can be completed in light vehicle or heavy vehicle and is aimed at students that want to complete a level 2 apprenticeship and it would be completed over 2 years. The course involves completing practical tasks and examinations, if you need to complete maths or English this is built into your timetable as is ICT if you don’t have the required qualification already. This is a great stepping stone into employment.
With this qualification you could move on to the level 3 framework apprenticeship or into employment.
