What part of the course did you enjoy most?

I enjoyed learning various skills such as:

Writing skills

Discipline

Outdoor activities

Did you course help you in achieving your current role?

I believe that it really did get me to where I am now, as it allowed me to gain so many skills which I was able to put into practice when starting university.  It was an amazing course and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. The tutor’s really helped me to gain more confidence and believe that I could do anything if I put my mind to it.

What advice would you give to someone just starting a Public Services course now?

It may feel so nerve wracking at the beginning, but persevere with it because it really does benefit you in the future. From starting College to finishing College I was a totally different person, my confidence developed drastically.  You will also meet some of the best people who will you most likely remain friends with. Everyone is in the same boat at the beginning but you honestly won’t regret studying at Darlington College as I believe that it was one of the best things I ever took part in.
