I have enjoyed cooking every day and being so hands on.
What attracted you to Darlington College?
Being able to do such a practical course.
What are your career aspirations?
I hope to open up my own restaurant and try to gain a Michelin star for my establishment.
What is the next step in your career?
I am now working at Brasserie Zedel in London. I want to carry on working as a full-time chef and progress and gain experience in various types of restaurants.
How has this course prepared you for your next step?
It has given me a good grounding in the basics of cooking and has given me a passion to learn more.
What advice would you give to other students wanting to study at the college?
To keep focused on your studies and have a vision of what you want to do after college.
