4 GCSEs grades at 3 points or D-E including GCSE English or an appropriate Level 1 qualification in the relevant area and a satisfactory school report.
This course is designed to support students onto one of two pathways; a Level 3 study programme in Business or an Apprenticeship in a business subject. During the course, you will gain a broad understanding of the business world and how it operates. Using this knowledge, you will then develop and present your own enterprise idea, considering along the way; product and market research, financing, marketing and promotion, delivery and pitching.
The programme modules are:
> The Business Enterprise Environment
> Researching a Concept for a New or Revised Product or Service
> Promoting and Financing an Enterprise Idea
> Planning and Pitching an Enterprise Idea
Course Assessment Method
There is one exam on the programme, the rest of the course is assessed through assignments.
Students from this programme have continued on to study Level 3 Business courses and onto Level 2 and Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeships with a variety of employers.
