Course Assessment Method

You will be assessed through a wide range of assessments, this includes written assignments such as essays and reports, presentations, tests, group work and activities.

Entry Requirements

GCSE English and maths at grade C or above. Equivalents are not acceptable. On the day of interview you will undertake maths and English assessments to assess your eligibility for the programme. You must be 19 years or older to start this course.

What's Involved

Course overview

The Access to HE Diploma (Health) is a nationally recognised qualification with common requirements relating to the description of student achievement.

The course is a credit-based, graded qualification and requirements relate to both the award of credit and to the award of grades.

In order to obtain the full Access Diploma you will need to obtain 15 credits at level 2; these credits are obtained from common core units. In addition you will need to obtain 45 credits at level 3 from health units.

This course is run over 2 evenings a week (evenings- they are Tuesday and Wednesday 5-8.45 pm - these will be confirmed at interview) from September for one year.
