Entry Requirements

- Be employed in the care sector

- Hold or be willing to complete level 1 in Maths and English grade 4/C before the end of the course

What's Involved

This course will cover the 15 care standards and topics will include:

- Main tasks and responsibilities

- The importance of communication

- How to support individuals to remain safe from harm (Safeguarding)

- How to promote health and wellbeing for the individuals they support and work colleagues

- Treating people with respect and dignity and honouring their human rights

- Communicating clearly and responsibly
