There are no specific entry requirements but you will need to have a positive attitude towards studying.
The Re-Start course builds life, learning and employability skills and helps students to find their path in life. With a supportive, progressive scheme of work we aim to be flexible and helpful when it comes to putting students first.
Key skills and knowledge relevant to Employment, Training and Personal Development along with subject specific units in Health, Social Care and Childcare.
> Unit 1 Interpersonal Skills
> Unit 2 Intro to the Adult Social Care Sector
> Unit 3 Intro to Communication Skills
Informal workshops including Enrichment Activities; Guest Speakers, Progression Coaches and Careers Guidance.
Course Assessment Method
Work is internally assessed via a portfolio of evidence including: case studies, written and pictorial information and task work/books.
On achievement of the Award students will be able to progress onto the NOCN Level 1 Certificate/Diploma in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development
