What's Involved

This programme is designed to support staff working in a HR role to gain the skills, knowledge and behaviour required to succeed in their organisation.

Typically, you will be working in a medium to large organisation, handling day to day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes ranging from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business; and working with the business on HR changes.

Details of the Level 3 HR Support standard can be found here:

https://www.instituteforapprenticeships.org/apprenticeship-standards/hr-support/

Course Assessment Method

In addition to completing the 6 assignments, the learner will also be assessed as part of the End Point Assessment process for Apprenticeship standards. The assessment process includes delivering a consultative project and carrying out a professional discussion with an independent assessor

Apprentices without Level 2 English and Maths will also need to achieve this level prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.

What's Next

You could progress onto a Level 5 CIPD qualification or a Level 5 HR Apprenticeship.

The CIPD qualifications in HR Development are available at three levels:

> Level 3 Foundation - equivalent to A-level standard

> Level 5 Intermediate - equivalent to Degree standard

> Level 7 Advanced - postgraduate level

At each level you can follow an HR or L&D pathway or a combination of both.

When you successfully complete a Certificate or Diploma, at any level, you’ll become an Associate member, meaning you can use the designatory letters Assoc CIPD after your name
