The entry requirements are 5 GCSEs with 4 points or C grade and above, including 4 points or C grade in English, or a Level 2 Diploma in Creative Media at merit or above.
As a Junior Content Producer, you will be responsible for developing and creating content that can be used across a variety of media including digital, social media, broadcast or in print. Working to the customer/client brief, you will research, prepare and develop the media messaging to maximise audience engagement. The content you create may be used as part of media, advertising and marketing campaigns. You will capture what is exciting about a campaign and design the elements that can be used across media platforms and channels.
Course Assessment Method
You will be assessed throughout the programme using a range of methods; from projects created as part of your classroom study, to work place assessments in conjunction with your employer.
The final assessment will be an End Point Assessment in which will include:
> A workplace observation (25%)
> A response to a set assignment brief (30%)
> A professional discussion (45%)
Junior Content Producers may progress into Content Creation/Development roles at more senior levels across the industry, including with digital agencies, broadcasters and publishers.
