5 GCSEs grades A*-C including GCSE maths and English or an appropriate level 2 qualification (at a merit if graded) and a satisfactory school report.
We will request a school or college report and you will attend an interview at the college.
This programme is designed to give you the skills required to pursue a career in business or law. The programme consists of a two A-Level equivalent Business programme and a one A-Level equivalent Applied Law programme. This course will give you an excellent, practical, route to University and develop the skills required for degree level study and apprenticeship routes.
As part of the Diploma in Business you may study –
> Recruitment and Selection
> Aspects of Law
> Pitching a New Business
And as part of the Applied Law programme you may study:
> Dispute solving in Civil Law
> Investigating aspects of criminal law and the legal system
Course Assessment Method
In Year 1 and 2 you will be required to undertake a number of external assessments and coursework for some modules on the programme.
Successful completion will allow you to progress to a University programme in business or law or into industry via a relevant apprenticeship.
