ESOL English for Speakers of Other Languages

Entry Requirements

What's Involved

If you are looking to improve your English, from September 2021, we will be offering ESOL qualifications. These classes will help you to develop all four language skills in Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening.

We teach levels from Entry 1 through to Level 2. There are 3 separate courses available to suit your level of English: Speaking & Listening, Reading and Writing.

These classes will be in discrete levels and taught by ESOL teachers. Although we try to teach classes as separate levels, sometimes we have to combine these depending on circumstances.

The classes run in the daytime or evening.

Course Assessment Method

If you are new to college, you will be assessed before classes start, to identify your level in each language skill. Each skill is examined towards the end of each course, where achievement leads to a certificate.
