You will need to have 5 GCSE's with grades A*-C, including English and maths at Grade C or Level 2 Functional Skills in English and maths.
These qualifications are designed for candidates currently working as, or aspiring to be, supervisors and first line managers who have operational responsibility for a defined area of business operation; this qualification gives junior managers the communication and motivational skills to help improve operational efficiency.
This course is assessed through coursework. Possible modules on the course include:

> Meeting stakeholder needs
> Managing and communicating information
> Identifying development opportunities
> Recruitment and selection
> Improving team performance
> Being a leader
> Understanding team dynamics
> Management report writing
This qualification can also be studied as a Team Leading Apprenticeship.
Course Assessment Method
The programme is assessed entirely through coursework assignments.
On completion of this course you could progress onto the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management, or the Operations/Department Manager Apprenticeship.
