What's Involved

This programme is designed to support staff working in a HR role to gain the skills, knowledge and behaviour required to succeed in their organisation.

Typically, you will be working in a medium to large organisation, handling day to day queries and providing HR advice; working on a range of HR processes ranging from transactional to relatively complex, from recruitment through to retirement; using HR systems to keep records; providing relevant HR information to the business; and working with the business on HR changes.

Course Assessment Method

You will be assessed as part of the End Point Assessment process for Apprenticeship standards. The assessment process includes delivering a consultative project and carrying out a professional discussion with an independent assessor.

In addition we offer you the opportunity to complete your CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice, a well recognised, industry standard qualification.

Core Modules:

- Business, culture and change in context

- Principles of analytics

- Core behaviours for people professionals

- Essentials of people practice

Apprentices without Level 2 English and Maths will also need to achieve this level prior to completion of their Apprenticeship.

What's Next

Once you have successfully completed your apprenticeship you could progress to the Level 5 HR Consultant/Partner apprenticeship, or complete a further CIPD qualification, such as the Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management, and ultimately, the Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Strategic People Management

Foundation, Associate and Advanced level qualifications are increasingly being demanded by discerning employers, and are ideal qualifications to help you to gain professional status in your chosen career.

The CIPD qualifications in HR Development are available at three levels:

> Level 3 Foundation - equivalent to A-level standard

> Level 5 Associate - equivalent to Degree standard

> Level 7 Advanced - postgraduate level.

When you complete your level 3 qualification, you’ll be awarded CIPD Foundation Membership, and the designation “Foundation CIPD” after your name.
