Entry requirements are set by an employer, however we would expect them to include at least a Level 3 qualification and GCSEs (with a grade C or above in English and maths), or relevant work experience.
Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment.
Coaching is a way of treating people, a way of thinking and a way of being which is seen as vital to supporting individuals and organisations in increasingly volatile and ever-changing environments. The underlying and ever present purpose of coaching is building the self-belief of others, regardless of the context, to be curious and self-aware, better equipping them to collaborate, innovate, deal with the increasing pace of change and get the best from increasingly diverse environments. Effective coaching is future focussed, releases potential, and enables transition, transformation and change for business improvement.
This apprenticeship is expected to take approximately 14 months before you are able to sit your end point assessment

Course Assessment Method
The end point assessment consists of 3 elements:
Assessment method 1: Observation with questions and answers
Assessment method 2: Interview supported by portfolio of evidence
Assessment method 3: Knowledge Test
For each element you can be awarded either Fail, Pass or Distinction
Once you have completed your end point assessment you can achieve professional recognition through
- The European Mentoring and Coaching Council,
- The Association for Coaching, or
- The International Coach Federation.
You could progress to further coaching or management qualifications or a higher level apprenticeship.
