Apprenticeship Senior Healthcare Support Worker (Standard) Level 3


Entry Requirements

> Be working in an appropriate job role or be willing to find suitable employment before starting the apprenticeship

> Both Maths and English at GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent

> Attend an interview at the college and with the employer

> You will require a clear enhanced DBS form, otherwise you will not be accepted onto this apprenticeship.

What's Involved

This apprenticeship will develop your knowledge and skills relating to the clinical health care workforce and also the skills required to work in a range of clinical environments and carry out assessments or examinations.

The apprenticeship is made up of 1 day in college and the reminder in work where you will meet all the criteria for the apprenticeship standard, as well as achieving a City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support.

This apprenticeship covers a range of topics including gaining an insight into a clinical working environment, supporting individuals with day to day activities and understanding mental health and well-being.

You will have a dedicated Assessor who will support you in the workplace and help develop in key behaviour, knowledge and skills.
