What's Involved
This is a practical course, that will offer insight into understanding mental health awareness and will give knowledge to where you would need to go to support yourself and others. The qualification aims to;
- raise awareness of issues surrounding mental health,
- dispel some of the myths and misconceptions frequently linked to mental health issues,
- develop knowledge of the rights of those with mental health issues.
What's Next
After successful completion of the course, you may be interested in signing up for our Level 2 Award in Effective Listening Skills. Some of our relevant Distance Learning courses, such as Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health or our Level 2 Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace certificate will offer you further progression.
