Manufacturing, Robotics and Automation

Automation is the future of the manufacturing industry. In fact, automated machines are expected to replace almost half of the global workforce. Robotics includes learning skills such as coding, Engineering technical support and Artificial Intelligence. Darlington College has invested heavily in this area, including our new Robotics and Automation Manufacturing lab, which is full of industry-standard robots used in everyday Engineering tasks. This high level of expertise is essential for Engineering students looking to study on our T level qualifications, or on our Apprenticeships and HE offerings.
