Apprenticeship Funding

Are you interested in taking on an Apprentice?

The Government is committed to significantly increasing the quantity and quality of apprenticeships in England to reach 3 million starts through their 2020 vision and from April 2017, any UK employer, in any sector, with a pay bill of more than 3 million per year is liable to pay the Apprenticeship Levy. For non-levy payers, apprenticeships will be funded through co-investment between the employer and the Government (funding ratios are subject to change).

Apprenticeship Standards

The Institute for Apprenticeships are continuously working with employers to create and develop new Apprenticeship Standards to raise the quality of apprenticeships, and to replace all the old Apprenticeship Frameworks by 2020.
