Employer Support & Sponsorship

Employers may be able to pay part or all your fees upfront. Your qualification will improve your ability to do your job, advance your career prospects, and your employer benefits from a better qualified and motivated employee.

If your company doesn’t offer sponsored programmes, but you think further study would be beneficial to both parties, make a proposal to them.  Initially talk to your line manager, and be prepared to make a case to other senior staff or HR manager, who may make decisions on training expenditure.  Alternatively use your appraisal as an opportunity to discuss doing a Higher Education Course.

Show your manager you have researched and identified possible options. Emphasise the benefits that you sitting the course will your organisation and how it fits in to your longer term career development.
